Great quality and easy to use., November 1, 2015
This is the first mold that I've used and it works quite well. I made a beeswax and coconut oil candle with no mold spray. The candle was extremely easy to remove as beeswax isn't as tacky once it's hardened. I'm quite happy with the mold. My only complaint would be the swirly designs on the mold...
I was a bit disappointed. The material is very thick, December 27, 2015
I purchased this item to make bath baskets for some friends. I was a bit disappointed. The material is very thick, making it fairly rigid. Even after making a slit down the side, getting candles out of it was very difficult. The hole for the wick is very small, which is advantageous in keeping...

Beehive candle 70 hour coil burns 2 inches at a time, February 25, 2012
The candle arrived ready to use. The bees do not come attached to the candle; the wings are detached from the plastic bodies. Since the candle wax unwinds from the top, the best placement of the bees is not at the top. I scattered them, but did place a few at the top of the coil and on the strand...

Beehive Candle by the Hour, February 21, 2013
This candle is adorable! Easy to use ( the candle was already setting on the holder -- I just had to unwind a bit and insert into the clip). It came with a package of plastic bees which was just too fun placing about the candle. They even sent more bees than needed which is good for when I need...

Family knows its beeswax - Half Moon Bay ReviewThis is the heart of the Gilchrist home and a thriving family business spearheaded by mom Leslie and run by at least two of the four children who, as she puts it, “came home” to her and husband Bill from Russia and Ukraine. That business is “Beesy Brothers,” a play on words in tribute to Gilchrist brothers Thomas and Daniel and the pretty, seasonal candles they make with beeswax from their own beehives. The family just finished with pumpkin candles. “It’s just a happy pumpkin,” said Leslie. Now it’s time for simple tapers and votives in beeswax natural beige, and angels and Christmas trees tinted with beeswax dye to blue, purple or green. One pattern, an angel with a face structured so that “she glows,” Leslie.
Meet the Tillamook County Beekeepers Association - Tillamook Headlight HeraldWondering where all the bees have gone. You can get that and more from real, live beekeepers at the monthly meetings of The Tillamook County Beekeepers Association. Our local “apiarists” (beekeepers) meet in Bay City, the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p. m. at ArtSpace, (corner of US 101 and Forth Street). Giving a brief history, Bob Allen, the Association's President said “the group began in 1977, after a beekeeping class at the college. When it ended several students decided to start a club and The Tillamook County Beekeepers Association was born. Later they became affiliated with the state organization, The Oregon State Beekeepers.
